Harrison Hanley, OLH Prep 8 is also known as the Scripps National Spelling Bee Contestant #334.
Harrison, who will attend St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in the fall, is the reigning Spelling champion at OLH. He represented us at the Long Island Bee...and is now one of the RSV Bee spellers who will compete in Washington,DC on May 31.
TOMORROW'S HOPE is a foundation that has enabled so many families across the Diocese to apply for and receive some tuition assistance. There is a new format for applying . We urge every family to read the information and to see if this is something to which you might apply.
A new statue has arrived and will be placed facing onto the new playground once it is completed.
This new statue will be dedicated in honor of two of our recently deceased grandmothers, CAROLYN GRISNIK and MARIE DEGEN and, hopefully, will be a reminder of the care and support that our grandparents give to OLH.
If any other families would like to be included in the sponsorship of the statue and the permanent brick pedestal she will require, please contact Sister Kathy.
(The estimated total cost of the entire project will be approximately $4000.)

Throughout the year, there are several projects and special events that are held or sponsored that directly benefit the children of OLH. These are generally not covered within the school budget. Families and friends who are able to do so are invited to sponsor the event of their choice. Each sponsorship will be acknowledged formally.

The faculty, parents and students are challenged once again to build on the strong foundation of faith, hope and love that has made Catholic education on the East End so visible.
Let us continue this new academic year united in prayer for
OUR PASTORS: that they continue to lead their parishes to the realization that their Catholic school is a sound investment in the future of the Church
OUR PARENTS: that they may continue to grow, along with their children in the knowledge that true learning is, indeed, a family affair
OUR TEACHERS: that they be strengthened in the knowledge that their daily efforts are rewarded by the smiles and understanding of their students.
EACH OTHER: that we may continue to be a true family!
The community of Our Lady of the Hamptons is not centered around any one person or one individual philosophy or teaching style. It is simply a kaleidoscope of talents, opportunities and effort, when blended together create one cohesive, strong, beautiful image that reflects the Catholic values we embrace.
