We are in the initial planning stage for the annual MOTHERS' RETREAT DAY with Sister Ann Marino at Cor Maria in Sag Harbor. Last year, 20 moms took advantage of this great day of prayer, solitude, reflection.....a time for moms....

Southampton Mayor JESSE WARREN will be at OLH on THURSDAY, MARCH 12 at 1:30 for our parents.
You do NOT need to be a Southampton Village resident....He is not here to garner votes....but to get to know our school community and to find ways that he might be a help to OLH.

The annual..traditional .....Holy Week SEDER MEAL will be on Tuesday, April 7
Lots of information will be coming from the chairpersons Carla Sanders and Nicole Boeding.....BUT......we are also looking for two moms who would be willing to step up and "learn/shadow" the process and then take the lead in Seder 2021. A great chance to get involved, us your leadership skills in this once a year very special event.
We will have several new families with us in September 2010 with children in PreK, Kindergarten and grades.
Would you...moms and dads...be willing to be on a special Welcoming Team..to reach out and help new families become acquainted with procedures, correspondence, policies and a general sense of OLH community?
Think of all the "little things" that you may have struggled with when you first came to OLH...
The Diocese of Rockville Centre requires that all parents, teachers, volunteers...and anyone who works directly with the children (chaperones, drivers, library aides, coaches, lunch parents,etc take a course leading toward Virtus certification .
No exceptions can be made to this requirement.
Mrs. Shimkus will offer one last VIRTUS TRAINING SESSION for the school year at OLH on Thursday, April 2 in the school library.

Tomorrow's Hope Foundation provides tuition assistance to applicants who have children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Anyone in need of tuition assistance is welcome to apply for an award. Awards are granted on a first come first served basis. Award amounts are based on financial need. 2020-2021 Tomorrow's Hope/FACTS Scholarship Application is OPEN!
The SENIOR DANCE COMPANY and the HAMPTONES traveled to Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood and spent the day performing, singing at the Mass, and visiting the residents. On the 100th day of school, the girls also were able to meet three people who are more than 100 years old.
The Primary Community celebrated 100 days of school by dressing as they might if they were 100 years old. The Kindergarten, first and second graders also spent time exploring possibilities in Math, Science, Art and Engineering with hands-on group activities.
Thanks to Mr. Scapellati and Miss Burriesci for their efforts in promoting MATH, SCIENCE ,ENGINEERING nd TECHNOLOGY through the STEM Bowl 2020.
